WCCC Moonlight Serenade – A Beautiful Evening

The siren call of Glenn Miller‘s “Moonlight Serenade” called dancers and listeners alike into a
beautiful evening of music and song on February 11, 2023.
About 70 people enjoyed over two hours of music and fun at the Wimberley Community Center, courtesy of the Wimberley Community Civic Club and the Wimberley Valley Big Band. People enjoyed dancing, conversation, shopping, the silent purse, auction, and snacks, provided by the WCCC. Wimberley Valley Big Band provided great music from the ages, including music by Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, and many, many others. Kathy Burnette, and other vocalists serenaded the crowd.
A truly wonderful evening was had by all. By purchasing a ticket, participants contributed to the ongoing scholarship and community-support which is the mission of all WCCC events.
